The Freshman Academy is a team concept designed to help students successfully transition from middle school to high school. Research has shown that students are more successful, involved, and motivated when grouped in small learning communities within a large school. The students in the Freshman Academy will have the same core subject teachers throughout the school day and these classes are centrally located in the 300 hall of the Academic Building. The freshman attendance office, Academy Dean, and Assistant Principal are centrally located in the Science Building near the cougar display. If you need to pick up your freshman or drop something off, please park in the west parking lot near the football field house.
