BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS OF AMERICA |
The Cooper chapter of Business Professionals of America recently elected officers. The 2007-2008 officers include: Paris Brown, Burdett Hanchett, Daisy Lopez, Sabra Simpson and Kristen Wyatt. As a service project, the Cooper chapter volunteeered to work with Habitat for Humanity. The next service project scheduled will include work with Special Olympics. |

CHINLE TRIP FOR STUDENT COUNCIL |
The Cooper Student Council participated in their sixth visit to the Navajo Nation. Fourteen faculty members and 34 students participated in the annual adventure. Much preparation went into this annual trip. Click on the Chinle icon to see the Cooper Student Council as they traveled to Arizona. |

FIREMAN APPRECIATION |
Members of the Cooper Student Council visited the local fire stations that serve our school. Cooper Student Council makes an annual visit to express appreciation to the firemen as they continue to serve our school and our community. |

COOPER ENGINEERING & ROBOTICS CLUB |
The Cooper Engineering and Robotics Club came home from Lubbock with the secnd place trophy and a trip to the regional playoffs in the BEST (Boosting Engineering Science & Technology) competition. The CHS students competed against twenty area schools in thirteen matches. The regional competiiton will be held at the Lubbock coliseum on December 1. HEART WALK, 2007 |
Members of the Cooper faculty participated in the annual Heart Walk at Redbud Park. Cooper faculty members collected over $750 in funds that were donated to the American Heart Association. Cooper faculty member, Sherry Stewart, is in charge of coordinating the Cooper faculty. Thank you to all faculty members that participated. |

COOPER CHOIR, TMEA HONORS |
Members of the Cooper choirs competed in Snyder at the annual TMEA competition. Many of the CHS choir members were selected to the TMEA All-District and TMEA All-Region choirs. |

HOMECOMING QUEEN NOMINEES |
The Homecoming Queen Court was presented during the pep rally.The Top 10 nominees were nominated by the senior class during their recent class meeting. The entire Cooper student body will have the opportunity to vote for the Cooper queen from the top 3 finalists on Friday, September 21. These young ladies will be presented on the field during the haftime ceremonies of the Cooper vs San Angelo football game on Friday, September 21.
